This plug-in card provides eight digital stereo inputs and outputs to give the maximum complement of stereo sources in each Engine. The cards handle both AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital formats. Each input comes equipped with a sample rate converter to allow the connection of various data rates without dropout or noise bursts. This card is 24bit/96 KHz capable for assured future compatibility with digital audio devices. The card also features its own DSP to reduce the load on the main DSP card and improve card efficiency.
