The Remora is one of the control surfaces available for Logitek's powerful audio engine. Remora offers some of the most popular features of the Numix control surface in a compact design that can be mounted without a table-top cutout.
The Remora is available in four different configurations from 4 to 22 faders. It's low profile, ergonomic, and flexible design fits into any studio decor. It is ruggedly constructed with rugged switches and controls for years of trouble free use.
The Remora is a totally assignable control surface. Its size and flexibility makes it ideal for news desks, dubbing stations, combo/DJ studios, live assist computer operations or more elaborate installations where space is at a premium. Only one cable is needed to link the Remora to the Audio Engine. And since you can use two Remoras in two different studios on one Audio Engine, it can be very economical to make your studios digital.
Remora can also be ordered in physically split configurations so that live copy areas or computer screens and keyboards may be located directly in front of the operator. Fader sections are then located to each side of the operator. In the 4 fader configuration, the Remora gives powerful access to all audio in a Logitek system in a compact package that may be pushed out of the way when not in use. Or if a larger configuration is needed but space will not allow a Numix, Remora can be ordered with 10, 16 or 22 faders in a compact footprint with full access to the Logitek routing system. Remora can be secured to a table top but it is completely surface mounted and does not require a cutout for mounting.
Special care has been given to ensure satisfaction... from industrial strength ON/OFF buttons, to keeping the height of the meter bridge low to help with studio line of sight. Ease of service has also been carefully thought out. Faders, ON/OFF buttons, and control buttons are on ribbon cable connectors or card assemblies for ease of replacement. Parts can be replaced or the entire control surface can be replaced without affecting what is being broadcast On-Air. Remora provides access to advanced functions such as EQ and dynamics processing as well as custom programming created by Command Builder.
